PURE Dance - February

Looking for a space that's devoted just to dance? You found it! Dance is my sanctuary, so join me on the floor where we co-create a sacred space to just dance! This means that there is no talking, no shoes (optional), no phones or cameras, and no judgement! We all just show up in a room I've prepared with a playlist I've prepared and the whole goal is to move in any way you desire! 

This is just like ecstatic dance, if you've heard of that! These guidelines help us drop into the dance and not focus on anything else. This can help us go deeper into the moment and remain in movement and freedom! I find that my mind goes into a trance-like state when there aren't any other distractions. I find that I'm not doing anything performatively and really focusing on what my body wants to do. And I find that I can sink into the present moment more easily. 

So, get out of your mind and into your body with this monthly dance! Come however you would like, there are no intoxicants served. All are welcome. This space is not designed for kids, but if you feel your kid can handle the guidelines they are welcome to join. Songs may include cussing or sexual content. 

Please arrive at 7pm at Tones Fitness in Bremerton WA. Circle starts at 7:15 and you must attend circle to participate! We start with an introduction so we are all on the same page. Then we do some connection and warm up exercises. Next it's about an hour and a half of unimpeded dance! Followed by complete silence and stillness for several minutes (my favorite part!). Then I host a group chat afterwards for connecting with the community. It's a totally unique event in Kitsap!
